
Michael E. Ciccolini

It’s a philosophy that has guided Ciccolini & Associates for nearly a half century and continues to shape how the firm serves its clients today.
Michael has practiced law at Ciccolini & Associates, formerly Germano, Rondy & Ciccolini, for more than 30 years. After earning his Juris Doctor from The University of Akron School of Law in 1984, he began his career working alongside his father, Elio Ciccolini, and the firm’s founding partners. Over his more than three-decade career, Michael’s practice has evolved to encompass a wide range of legal matters. The depth of his practice has enabled him to gain knowledge across many areas of the law.
Today, Michael focuses his practice on several key areas. He represents clients in estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, and powers of attorney documents, and administering estates and guardianships in probate court. Additionally, he represents family businesses and closely held businesses in formation, sale and succession planning, contract disputes, and other matters. Michael also represents clients in real estate transactions and property disputes, representing both buyers and sellers, as well as personal injury matters, such as auto accidents and serious injury cases, and general civil litigation matters.
An active member of the Akron Bar Association and the Probate Committee, Michael previously served as a member of several other committees, including the Incubator Program Ad-hoc Committee, the Commission on Judicial Candidates, and the Investigative Committee of the Certified Grievance Committee. Outside the office, Michael enjoys staying active and traveling. He is an avid runner and biker and has raced in the Akron Marathon and Boston Marathon multiple times. Michael lives in Green, Ohio, with his wife Susan.
